I'll be closing the clinic doors on Dec 19, 2025 and re-opening on Feb 3, 2026. Time to reset and rejuvenate. If I don't see you in clinic before the end of the year, enjoy the holiday season. I hope you also get a chance to rest and recharge.

Do you really know yourself?

What you're feeling beneath the stress

What your body needs to release that tension

Tune in to you

Even if you've forgotten how

Supporting your family through kinesiology

Hello, I'm Vannessa. I grew up in the Philippines with a large extended family, learning that we're all connected. What affects you, touches everyone around you.

I also know what happens when that connection breaks. When survival takes over. When you lose yourself. My body led me back.

Here's what I help with
Balanced Stone Stack
When you're carrying too much

You're constantly "on" – managing everyone's needs while yours get pushed aside. The anxiety builds, the exhaustion deepens, and you're barely keeping your head above water. That's your body asking for help. Let's listen to it.

When your body won't keep complaining

Those tension headaches. Tight shoulders. Nagging back pain. They're not just inconveniences you have to live with. Your body is trying to tell you something important. We need to listen.

When you can't shake that  “off” feeling

You feel drained. Disconnected. Like you're carrying everyone else's stress. You can't put your finger on it, but something isn't right. That feeling is real, and there are ways to help you feel like yourself again.

When you've gone numb

Sometimes we disconnect from difficult feelings as protection. You feel numb, like you're going through the motions, or like there's a wall between you and the life you want. Working with your nervous system can help you safely reconnect to yourself, so you can feel present and whole again.

When you've been through something that changed you

What happened to you lives in your body long after your mind tries to move on. Childhood wounds, recent pain. Your body remembers it all. It's ready to release when you are. This work isn't quick or easy, but it's possible. I've walked this path myself.

When your child is struggling

When your child is struggling – whether it’s anxiety, big emotions, trouble focusing, or just seeming “stuck” – and you want to help. Sometimes gentle, natural support can make a real difference in ways you might not expect.

How I work

Each session begins with a real conversation about you. Your symptoms, your challenges and your goals.

My approach is shaped by three things:
  • My training in kinesiology

  • My own wellbeing journey

  • The Filipino values I grew up with

What that looks like:
  • Kapwa – we're connected: Your wellbeing affects everyone around you, just as theirs affects you.

  • Pakiramdam – deep listening: I listen with my whole being, tuning in to what your body is really trying to communicate beneath the surface.

  • Understanding presence: I have been through my own struggles. I know that most people carry more than they show. I listen with kindness, care, and an open heart.

  • Safe space: Everything you share stays between us, unless safety becomes a concern. This is your time to be completely honest without judgment.

  • Gentle bodywork: I use touch, movement, and techniques to release both the physical tension and emotional weight you’re holding.

  • Natural wellbeing tools: Sometimes I’ll suggest flower essences, crystals, or other gentle remedies to help you feel more grounded and connected to your natural vitality.

I've been through my own struggles with depression and feeling lost in my own life. My body was the bridge back to myself. This isn't just what I do, it's how I healed

Your part in this

I need your honesty, respect, and active participation. True to the spirit of kapwa, we're in this together. I'll provide guidance and support, but you remain the expert on your own experience.

What Guides Me (And Maybe You Too)

This acronym has guided both my practice and personal journey.

K – Kindness to self: Be gentle with yourself. Compassion is often the first step toward your wellbeing.
N – Nurture and nourish: Honour what your body and mind actually need, not what you think you should need.
O – Own your journey: Acknowledge where you are right now. Real change starts with honest awareness.
W – Wisdom: Trust your intuition and your body’s innate intelligence. You know yourself better than anyone.

This acronym didn't come from a book. It came from clawing my way back to myself when everything felt impossible. If you're in that place now, where nothing feels right and you don't recognize yourself anymore - these principles can be your lifeline too

Grace

“I really appreciated Vannessa’s holistic, calm and kind approach. Her knowledge of kinesiology is so in-depth and her ability to make you feel safe and welcome was something that I really needed. I went to see Vannessa as I had months of persistent plantar fasciitis that just wouldn’t go away no matter what I tried and after only one session with her it improved dramatically, and this session was the catalyst to getting rid of all the pain as she unpacked more about what was going on physically and emotionally in my body. I have always used kinesiology, sometimes on its own or in conjunction with other therapies and Western medicine as it is really connective and nurturing. Vannessa was just wonderful and I really felt so refreshed after working with her and I can’t recommend her more.”
